Whatever you do . . . NO NAMES! :) That's one of my rules. I will never put anyone's name on my body.

I'm with Meeko...NO NAMES OR INITIALS! I say on the hip. As for what...I dunno!

Old fuddy-duddy here, but I'm an "ink free" kind of guy.

Make it something sexually suggestive, and when you're in the mood, you reveal it to the one you want to do it with.

I'm a traditionalist- no names or initials. Maybe something like one of you gets the lock and one the key?

For the record... No names or initials will be used!! I'm all about unique.. I have never been one to follow the norm ;-)

Let me start by saying I LOVE tats, so I'm not a fuddy duddy. But I don't think getting symbolic tats this early is a great idea. Tats are permanent and I believe, while your love is great right now, it shouldn't be done until more of a commitment is made in the relationship...engagement, marriage. Just call me superstitious.

For example, 2 months before our wedding, we had to do pictures for our church directory. When they asked how to list our names, I thought it would be kinda bad luck to go ahead and put my soon-to-be new last name (even thought the directory wouldn't be printed until after our wedding). It just seemed wrong for it to be printed before that.

Now I realize you said no names or initials but I still see the permanence of tattoos (even symbols) the same way. So I think if you're going to both go get tats, don't make them something that is symbolic of the other....just yet.

OK, maybe I AM a fuddy duddy!

I have a small, very lame tattoo I got when I was 21. It is a small flower (the size of a nickel) on my right hip. I would like to see if it could be made into something else...I would love to get a fleur de lis because I'm a New Orleans girl....I dunno.

"Mom" on your forearm.

Always a winner.

I'm ink free, too. But DO NOT get his name, initials, or any other identifying marker that relates to him. It is the kiss of death for a relationship.

I don't have any ink and never will. Not that I don't like tattoos, just not me. So, I have no suggestions...although the astrological sign sounds interesting (only because I am an Aries too!). Yes, my comment was pretty useless!

Lil Sansbury: I have already talked to YOU about this... you know I don't listen to reason girl - I'm balls to the wall! ha ha

Erin: ROCK that Tatt girl - get it made into whatever you want! on the hip it can be your secret wild side ;-) no one has to know but you and your hubby! =)

Mooog: classy! LOL I think Adam already has that {wink}

Kys: no names...just our signs. Adam drew it up and it's WAY cool - maybe I can post a picture later of what we are thinking... And I don't believe in the kiss of death. We were brought together for a reason, getting a tatt isn't going to tear that apart. I'm SUCH a romantic ;-)

Holly: it's ok - I still luv ya! I love the horoscope thing! I LOVE being an Aries ;-) Hopefully I can do a post of what Adam drew up for us to get. It's WAY cool! stay tuned...
