I laughed the entire time KY was beating UNC.

That's real.

Then Duke won, and I was happy for the rest of the day.

Then Dallas won, and it made my weekend.

Then I got to eat Olive Garden, and I'm pretty sure it made it the best year of my life.

I used to be a GS troop leader and frustrated by the lack of parent help year after year, one year I made up a calendar and went around with a pen at the sign ups and said, please fill in at least one day that you can help so this can be a successful year. And it worked! Everyone helped at least once- and I even got a cookie mom volunteer! I think if we expect rather than ask... maybe that will work for you. No one wants to be the one loser parent who DOESN'T help .:)
